Protect Academy: Course & Certification Policies

Please review the following policies regarding enrollment, certification, refunds, and general terms for all Protect Academy courses.

 

1. Certification and Course Completion

 

  • Merit-Based Certification: Certification from Protect Academy is awarded solely based on a student's demonstrated mastery of course material and successful completion of all required examinations. Payment for a course does not, in itself, guarantee certification. We uphold the integrity of our certifications, which are earned through proven competence.

  • No Employment Guarantee: Protect Academy is an educational institution focused on skill development and certification. We do not provide job placement services, act as a recruitment or manpower company, nor do we make any guarantees regarding student employability upon course completion.

 

2. Enrollment and Refund Policy

 

  • Identification Requirement: To complete your enrollment, please provide a clear screenshot of your valid driver's license for identification purposes.

  • Cancellation & Refund Period: Students may request a full refund for course cancellation within 48 hours of initial payment. A deduction of $175 USD will be applied from the full course price to cover administrative expenses and transfer commissions.

  • Agreement to Terms: Once the enrollment process has commenced (beyond the 48-hour cancellation window), the student is considered to have fully understood and agreed to all terms and conditions of participation. Subsequent claims of misunderstanding will not be grounds for refund.

  • Non-Refundable Upon Commencement: Non-completion of video examinations, withdrawal from the course, or failure to pass course requirements does not entitle the student to a partial or full refund.

  • Examination Policy & Fees:

    • Each student is entitled to two attempts to pass the required video examinations.

    • Should a third examination attempt become necessary due to failure in the first two attempts, an additional fee of $299 USD will be incurred per subsequent examination.

 

3. Accreditation & Student Responsibility

 

  • State Licensing: Protect Academy is officially licensed by the State of Maine Department of Education, USA, under Licence Number: 200052.

  • Acceptance of Terms: By enrolling in any Protect Academy course, you expressly agree to abide by all stated terms and conditions.

  • Accreditation Recognition Disclaimer:

    • In the United States, various licensing authorities and employers may require degrees or certifications from regionally or nationally accredited institutions as a basis for eligibility for professional licensing or employment.

    • Similarly, some accredited colleges may not accept for transfer courses or degrees completed at unaccredited or non-regionally accredited institutions.

    • It is the sole responsibility of each student to independently validate that the licensing status and recognition of a diploma issued under the Department of Education of the State of Maine are acceptable and recognized within their specific region, country, or or state for their intended professional or academic purposes.
